All In For the 99% Art Show/Event this Saturday

This Saturday I'm excited to be taking part in All In for the 99% with a new painting. If you are as frustrated as I am by the unbelievable heartlessness and greed that seems to reign supreme in governing our nation (not to mention the ridiculous 'war on women' in our healthcare system) then please come and be a part of this great event.

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Artists, musicians, writers and activists unite to amplify the voices of the 99%, demanding and end to Citizens United and calling for real campaign finance reform. The ALL IN FOR THE 99% gallery will be open to the public with music, readings and visual art from over 100 of the nation's most revolutionary artists including Robbie Conal, Swoon, Chris Johanson & Johanna Jackson, Cheryl Dunn, Sage Vaughn, Glen E. Friedman, Shepard Fairey, Alia Penner and on and on.

Over the course of the day, we have activist trainings by Rebuild the Dream, Jason Alexander as our on-site "roving reporter" for Funny or Die, DJ sets by The Embassy, a Funny or Die short film fest (you can imagine where that will go), and a pop-up Stories Bookstore. Further, readings and performances curated by Slake Magazine include Val Kilmer as the ever-relevant Mark Twain, Natasha Vargas Cooper and Sam Slovick among others, attorney and activist Van Jones will speak about Rebuild the Dream and a performance by The Voice finalist Vicci Martinez.
