i am slowly chipping away at several pieces that have been sitting and waiting. 'hippie nerd' being one of them. nerd clan is close behind. i'm currently working on a new girl for my series as well. i keep on finding ways to make computers crash with my 'insane' illustrator drawings....

'Multiversal' Group Show @ Art Basel Miami 2009

I will be showing a few pieces in the second installment of the Feminality Art show @ the Multiversal Group show at Art Basel Miami this year.
There are going to be over 150 amazing artists exhibiting with live painting by Tara MacPherson, Buffmonster, Mear One and more. I am trying to finish up a new piece in time so we shall see if I can get that done!

The 'Multiversal' group show begins on Thursday, December 3 and runs until Sunday, December 6. It will take place at The American Legion building, 6445 NE 7th Ave in the Miami Modern District. Admission is FREE.

i love finding inspiration in strange places! the dolphin on my mom's shower curtain has these moist, kind eyes so i have given my girls these black jewels as well...

new sketchbook

i finally got a new sketchbook, and one of my kitties christened it by puking on the first page. awesome. i go back and forth with drawing and painting, sometimes the computer just sucks me in, other times i run away from art like it's a ghost - if i don't look back then it was never really there....
